Hi my name is Tammy and I have lived in this area for 46 years. I am a people person and currently care for people from kindergarten to 90 years old. I love people. I started caregiving between my 8th and 9th grade year of school when my mom got very sick. The caregiving I took on at that age was wound care, personal care, companionship, housekeeping, and cooking so I have been at this for a moment. I have been a 24/7 caregiver or family members and work 24-hour shifts with clients because it's not about me and my needs it's about my clients and their needs in order to get them to a better place in life. I would say now looking back I am proud that my mom is my first client.

I love working with people. I love helping and caring for the elderly. It's like caring for my own grandparents. I love having conversations and play board games with my clients.

I love people and helping them however I can. I took care of my grandmother for 5 years and realized how needful care giving services are. Seeing someone who feels alone and many times can't even remember who they are, just smile is a gift to me. Many patients over the years I have cared for and at the end of the journey, I can look back and know I made the last days they lived better. I treat every patient as if they were my mom or dad, grandmother or grandfather. Because they are and they deserve respect and dignity dealing with all the changes age can bring. I was a CNA twelve years ago. I have my Associates degree for Medical Assistant. I am working on my Bachelors in Business with a Concentration in Healthcare Administration. I took care of my husband's grand parents as they become immobile as they quickly declined. I am tender hearted and treat others as I want to be treated.
