I have been a certified nursing assistant for 17 years? I am excellent at caring for others. Helping individuals whom have been injured or those who are disabled or ailing is my passion. I take great pride in being a CNA and assisting where people can not completely do for themselves, to ease the load on the family and loved ones.

Hi, My name is Shannon Leviner, I have been working in healthcare for 20 plus years, I love taking care of the elderly , taking care of my grandmother made want to help others, she was a sweet sole. I love and enjoy taking care of people, whatever their needs may be assisting with daily activities of daily living, meal prep, light house keeping, or just sitting and talking , just keeping them company. I'm just happy loving and caring for my patients, seeing them smile when I walk in the room, hearing them tell me, they will miss me when i'm not there, until ,i get to see them again, but they can always call me, anytime.

I'm love caring for people, I've been a cna now for about 13-14 years I have experience in rehabilitation , skill care, assited living , mental health, and home health care, I use to charting on residents daily needs and ask needed , light house keeping,changing and bathing resident, feeding, dressing and helping to transfer from chair to bed or bed to chair .

I give my best to anything I do. And going the extra to see my patient smile make happy. Cause I thought about being a nursing as a child and this would be a start as a nurse assist. I like the ideal I'm helping some who needs help and it like given someone so aspect of their life back being it big or small. Work my way from doing just personal care unto doing restorative aide. This is after they leave physical therapy then I continue to do therapy with them. It also make me want to go back to school to pt. assistant. Reason didn't return to school financial I couldn't single parent of 2 boys who's now a young adults one working and the other coming out college this May.

I'm very compassionate, I show empathy, I'm patience and self motivated. When providing care to any patient it's very important to have and to demonstrate these characteristics to family and their love ones. Showing them that you understand and to provide a listening ear can be essential to an individual overall care . To show empathy, putting myself in their shoes and to understand why they may feel the way they do. I like to have warm conversation while I'm provide care to help minimize them from feeling uncomfortable. It's very important to explain to them the care you are providing while providing the care.

Kimberly Ann Givens I have always known that my calling was in healthcare. I took care of my grandfather when he was battling cancer. Helping him out until his final months really emphasized my whole career choice. I then decided, after his passing, to go back to school and get my CNA certification. I have experience in long-term care and rehabilitation facilities. I am the type of person that asks to help, or to observe a procedure. I have assisted with ileostomy, colostomy, trachea care, stroke, and wound care. I always want to learn new things and am willing to enhance my career in any way. I have two children that I love dearly, and I hope to be someone that they look highly up to. I want my girls to be proud of what I do by helping people. I feel accomplished knowing that I can make a difference, or impact in someone’s life. I am passionate about what I do, and know that I can succeed well in the healthcare field. I became a care giver because I have a passion for helping those who can't help themselves. Care giving is not a job for me, it is a ministry that I take serious. I do it because I love it, it is rewarding for me and it is better to give than to receive. I completed two years' of college when I was told I would never make it. I am a fighter. I don't believe in giving up. I am a happy person, full of love and I like to spread it if people will accept it. I plan to some day own my own business and travel to other countries and help the less fortunate.
