My story : I was raised for a short period of time by My great nana and uncle . When they became sick, they were moved into hospice care. I recall doing everything I could to brighten their spirits and provide them happiness and peace. But at those moments, I discovered my calling and purpose. Working with the elderly senior generation now has the same implications. Working with each family, I offer the same comfort, love, and peace. I find myself caring for this generation as if they were my own family. My goal with each family is to constantly provide light to each individuals I serve. I have a job that takes patience and a compassionate heart. Experience wise I've spent years in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, private homes, and one-on-one care, learning and practicing so many skills and equipment that I'm convinced I can assist you.

I have a lot of patience, watching my father go through moods caused by dementia and altzimers has helped me become more understanding and wanting to help people.

I am an enthusiastic person with a great work ethic. I am very good at communicating and great at problem-solving . Above all I am honest. I have a kind heart and the patience to help anyone that is struggling. The reason i applied is because I was asked by a family member. to which, i said yes. I think this would be a perfect opportunity to help. When my father was sick, my siblings and I united to care for him. Now, my dad was lucky to have us but I know there are people out there that are alone. With that being said it just takes one kind person to provide help to a struggling individual.

I became a part-time caregiver years ago when we discovered my dad had dementia in the 90s. I have always been a caregiver in my family . My background is in finance. Kids got to college and I decided I'd do what was in my heart! Hello! My name is Marilyn. I'm the type of Caregiver that is calm, polite, neat, and with structure. My hobbies have been drawing, reading, TV, and some socializing. I chose to be Caregiver because after I certified for Medical Assistant, I tried a few jobs in that role but they didn't work well with me. So I ended up working as a Caregiver because I thought the role seemed easier to do than as a Medical Assistant. If I had enough time to certify as Nurse Assistant, I'd look forward to doing that someday. My greatest attractions as a Caregiver is having a Senior count on me for the sake of his/her well-being and building relationships. My personal achievement is to still have a job and have a life of my own right now.

I am currently a stay at home mom looking to get back into the caretaking world. I was raised taking care of my quadriplegic aunt up until 2013. Since then, I was a care taker for 2 years for 2 elderly men. Being a caretaker, I would say, is a calling for me. I enjoy helping others feel loved and cared for and I hope I can continue doing so for other families in the future.

Lost a Aunt to breast cancer and she didn't get the best care . So I treat everyone as if they were my loved one .

Hi, my name is Tayler and I love working with people! I am outgoing but also an introvert, love to help people, love to travel and love to learn new things. I have had various roles in the caregiver realm since 2007. Some of those roles have included caring for my aunt recovering from breast cancer, caring for a dear family friend day in and day out who battled ALS, cared for my grandmother who suffered from Alzheimers, drove elderly to and from doctors appointments, have provided over night care in facilities and private homes and so many more. I love being a caregiver because I love helping people and providing the companionship so many are looking for. Being able to just be a needed friend while providing the care they need brings me so much joy.
