Growing up with someone really special to me disabled fostered compassion, respect, & protection for others who may need a voice or a hand. I enjoy spending time with residents, talking with & learning from them. Knowing people's preferences and including them in their lives brings them such happiness and satisfaction, it makes me happy to know I made a difference in their lives. I was awarded employee of the month after 2 months of working in a long term facility for teamwork, respect for the residents, family & staff enough to hear & see them & paid attention to the little details that were important to them.

1) I love helping others and my grand mother told me I would make a great caregiver. I have always been a caregiver but I applied for a job one day and I have doing it every since. Also I took care of grandmother until she was 91. 2) I love caring for people and I feel like everyone needs help some times.
