Throughout my adult life, nurturing and caring for others is something that has been very natural for me. I have had the great privilege of being a mother and raising 5 children and now the grandmother of 5 beautiful little ones. I've seen the need for more trustworthy, quality Caregivers and strive to be one of them. My desire is to improve quality of life and bring a sense of calm assurance and safety to others when their world has been shaken. I am level headed, practical minded and compassionate. In my experience, kind sensitivity can be healing in many ways. I've been afforded life experience in caring for my husband after surviving a plane crash and learning to walk again. A year later, our 8 year old son was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I've learned a great deal through navigating the challenges of these life altering experiences. Both husband and son are healthy and well today. I've also had the opportunity to be a caregiver for local clients as well as my own mother after colon cancer surgery and assisting my brother in difficulties regarding Parkinson's. I will do all I can to assure that your loved one is safe and well cared for.

I enjoy working with people and enjoy the one on one interaction with others. I also enjoy taking the time to care for a client in every and any way that is needed. I feel that I am a very easing person who is willing to work towards any challenge presented to me. Working in this type of field, you need to have patients, great companionship, and a loving heart. All of those traits are what I thought of myself to become a caregiver. Making a difference in someone's life is something I cherish and love to do. What attracted me in being a caregiver is seeing clients smile because I made their day better. A personal achievement I am proud of is becoming a long way in being a caregiver and being a caregiver for two years. My goal is to further my career in becoming an RN.

I've been a caregiver for 16 years 7 years with the last company I'm with right now love taking care of different people travel me miles to my clients with different hours from 1 hour to 24 hours I stayed one day to a week. So I left and have spent the last 10 yrs caring for people in their own homes. I have cared for the early Alzheimer's and watch them transition. I was studying Alternative medicine several years back, before mostly currently switching over to Clinical Psychology. What attracted you to being a caregiver? Life. I believe we live life to help other people. Learning to be good to yourself and others. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? I love helping other people. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? Being active duty (Army 16yrs), working on a Ph.D, working positions to better serve the community, and learning to be willing to improve daily.

I am compassionate and patient. I have a good sense of humour and always want to bring smiles on people's faces. Being a caregiver gives me the opportunity to meet and interact with people, support and accompany them in their life'journey. I am detail and goal oriented and loves playing the role of advocacy for those I love and work with. Taking care of and supporting my blind and sick grand father taught me the real essence of life.
