I'm a Certified Medical Assistant and a caregiver for more than 9 years already. Having worked in the Medical fields and caregiving jobs gave me the foundations to have the skill set to evolved as an excellent CMA and caregiver to the best I can become. Taking care for elderly is my passion . I am extremely capable and compassionate individual with extensive hands on experience in elderly. I'm certified by the State of Texas as a CNA; I completed a 8-week training course at Houston Community College. I did a month of clinical at Treemont Assisted Living facility located in Houston, Texas. My duties were feeding, bathing, dress, and assist with mobility. In terms of your job requirements, I can cook, clean, and do laundry, lift, carry and transport items up to 30lbs. I've had the opportunity to work at Texana for 2 1/2 years as a House Parent during those exact duties. Due to me taking care of my husband my certification expired didn't get a chance to finish renewing it. I'd love the opportunity to sit down with you and discuss it in person. I'm an extremely caring person. I have a 31 year old daughter, I am a widow and have a two cats. I have taken care of two disabled adults, two elderly couple that came out of surgery, a woman with Alzheimers and dementia, a gentleman with dementia. I made sure they were bathe, wash clothing, folded clothing, changed feeding tubes, drove them to doctor's appointments, drove them to visit neighbors, made breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner. I also would change the bed every other day. I did light cleaning. I consider myself to be attentive, kind and patient. I know that I can be there for someone if they needed a companion, or small duties of which I've already done in the past. I have a vehicle but I'd prefer to use the patient's vehicle for anything we have to go run errands for. I am currently living in Brookshire Texas. I am willing to learn or be trained for something I have not yet assisted with. I do not have a license as nurse but I am CPR Certified. I am willing to work with ages 25 and up. Will not take COVID vaccine. I would not like to work in an environment where there are too many animals or and pitbulls. I hope I can be of assistance.

I listen and follow instructions very carefully. I love providing care to the elderly and I enjoy listening to their stories. Just being there for someone when they need you the most is a blessing. I always try to put a smile on people's faces that is one of the things most proud about, always trying to make someone happy.

The best part about being a Medication Aide/CNA it's so much don't even know where to start. I love doing what I do. I love the people, they make me smile constantly, I love making them smil... I love caring for people and also love the bond that we share... the stories and the trust they have with me.. making them feel better and clean as providing them with showers help with medications and personal hygiene.. my personal achievements thus far is to keep going to school to become a nurse and care further more with patients and expand my education...
