Hello, my name is Margo and i am an energetic fitness instructor and a retired speech therapist. For over 22 years, I have helped seniors and those with disabilities maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle. I also understand the health care needs of our aging adults. I love the outdoors, fresh air, a nice stroll and picnics. I enjoy board games, cards, bingo and puzzles as well as crafts like painting and beading. I have 4 years of previous practical nursing training from West Technical Educational Center located in South Florida , where I was born and raised. I've have 2 years of caregiver experience. I am currently a Certified Medical Assistsnt as well as a Certified Medication Technician. I have always been passionate about helping others in every way that I can possibly can help. Greetings and I hope all is well here is a little bit about me I've worked with seniors for a little while now privately as well as providing art services at nursing homes. What really got me into caregiving was the passing of my own grandmother, by me living out of town I never got to spend those last days with her which left me in great pain. That is why I started seeing what I can do to help out in the senior community. I cook I do light cleaning such as laundry, dishes, lining changes etc. I have other services that I offer as well I have my cosmetologist license, I offer manicures pedicures and haircuts, I do art classes and I'm also a licensed security officer so I'm trained see any danger coming if we happen to be on a outing. To me it's more then a job and honestly I just believe in treating people the way I would like to be treated or the way I would want someone to treat My love ones A person's character isn't built off of what they do when everyone is looking but more about what they do when no one is around I hope this was informational have a blessed day

I think what makes me a great caregiver is that I am very patient, and love interacting with my clients, I'm also do my best to keep a positive and understanding personality when it comes to my clients.

I'm a very outgoing, energetic, athletic, fit person who is very compassionate and caring, someone who puts others before himself, a father of 5, 3 girls and 2 boys. I've been in the field over 10 years and have reliable references to support the fact. I enjoy being able to help others, with everyday tasks, getting back into the community, making home cooked meals, or just being there as someone to talk to. I've worked with seniors, developmentally disabled, dementia patients, and disabled veterans. I'm a well rounded individual with ambition, and experience in all aspects of the healthcare field. An added bonus is that I love to cook as well. My family and I moved from Denver to Florida just to experience life and it's been one of the best life choices I could have ever made. We've been here almost two years now, and look forward to connecting with families and making new friends.

I'm a very compassionate person, I care about the well being of people that may be lonely, frail, needing companionship and someone to talk with, also I love animals, I have 7 cats and 1 dog. I helped my mother in law thorough her golden years, she lived by herself on her house with 2 cats, so my husband and I visited her often to help cleaning her house, doing yard work, preparing meals for her and going with her grocery shopping or to the malls. What I enjoy is seeing that at the end of the day I helped someone with company, cleaning, and staying at their home with their happy memories instead of a nursing home where sometimes they don't get enough attention and all their needs taking care of.
