I absolutely caring for those who cannot care for themselves. It brings me joy knowing that they are able to keep their dignity. I became a caregiver when my mother started showing signs of Alzheimer's and not being able to care for herself. I went from being a receptionist to a CNA.

I am 25 years old a very hard worker dedicated to my job. Caring for people and helping them is something that makes me feel good which is why I chose this career. I watched my grandmother go through so much and being able to help her over come her obstacles is the reason I want to help others.

Hello, I am a cheerful, positive respectful person with good work ethics that is interested in helping others by showing them consideration, kindness and a sense of hope. I have experienced the loss of my mother to two horrible illnesses, pulmonary fibrosis and dementia. I watched my older sister become my mothers fulltime caregiver, and learned that everything done with tender love, care , and grace helps not only the patient, but also gives peace and comfort to those closest to them. Knowing that my mother was well taken care of gave me a big sense of peace and helped me enjoy her last moments knowing that she had the best care she could of ever had. With that being said, after much thought on how I can honor my mothers memory, I have decided that caring for someone else's loved one will give me joy and a sense of being a help to someone that needs it just like my mother did.

I take pride in my job . Been doin this kind of work since 2000, I really enjoy assisting the elderly and working with them.

What attract me to being a caregiver is seeing my mother not being taken care of correctly and unfortunately losing her last year to covid. I enjoy being a caregiver to make them smile and not being so depressed, work with them on what they like to do. I am currently a CNA and working on finishing up my degree in medical assistant.
