I've always had a passion for helping others and wanted to pursue a career where I could. I worked in veterinary emergency care for 2 years and decided to see what other career paths I could take. Recently I decided to go to school to obtain my cna certification but have let the time needed lapse to stay active due to my most recent pregnancy complications. Through school I was able to get some experience during our clinical hours at the facility. I enjoyed my time there and loved having the chance to be there, feel needed and was able to make things easier for the residents-even if all I did that day was enjoy a small conversation with an individual. I am always pursing options to better myself and my future for my family. My sons are easily my greatest accomplishments and teach me how to love unconditionally, have patience and to stop and enjoy the simple moments in our day.

I have been a certified nursing assistant for over 21 years here in Wisconsin. I am looking to relocate and spread my work skills and team player skills I have a lot of experience with feeding bathing showering dressing using equipment to assist with patience if needed transfer belt. I've also had the opportunity to manage in group homes and also work as a team as well.

I HAVE WORKED IN MANY AREAS OF HEALTH CARE FROM HOME CARE, HOSPITAL, ASSISTED LIVING TO HOSPICE.As of now i am working at Rehabilitation Hospital of Wi I AM CPR AND MEDICATION CERTIFIED AS WELL AS A CNA. I became a Certified Nurse Assistant because I understand how difficult life and decisions can be without basic support on variable mental, emotional and physical levels. I feel that is where my passion and dedication to help others roots from. In my early childhood, the relationship between my grandparents and I was unique and special to me. I would go above and beyond to be helpful around the house whether it was dusting, washing the car or even cleaning up the mess made by the fish my grandfather caught and cleaned for a meal. Many of times, I would just do without being asked. Ultimately, no matter what the duties were, it always gave me this great rewarding feeling inside just being helpful in making the day/night easier for them. Im proud of being able to extend my natural capabilities to anyone/ families who can benefit from assistance.

I originally got my CNA license to take care of my Dad. When he passed away I started working at assisted living facilities. I really enjoyed working with the elderly. I owned a large home, and decided to care for someone privately. With the help of my lawyer, I took in a lady. I cared for her for six years. She got rapid onset dementia, and I could no longer handle her. It was certainly the best 6 years of my life! I live on the farm where I grew up. I no longer farm, but rent out the buildings and land. I have been self employed most of my life. I am a take charge kind of person. I still find helping others very rewarding. I hope I can continue to be a care giver. I just can't do it 24/7 any more
