My career as a senior companion happened very naturally and holistically. It didn't start as a career but as a neighbor helping neighbor and friend helping friend. Helping "straight from my heart", with my natural tendency to be there for people in need, became a profession as a natural progression of what I love to do and what I am good at. It's very important to me that once I take a client in that's my responsibility. I can cook well and I'm very tidy. I'm experienced in using walkers, wheelchairs and walking canes. I'm experienced in senior exercise programs. I can do all bathing, dressing and grooming. Transportation is not a problem, I have a reliable car with insurance that can fit a portable wheelchair.
