I know how to empathize, how to be patient and flexible, how to be passionate about what he or she does. I am attentive and responds to situations in a timely manner, and I put the needs of his or her patient first, and am able to take charge when necessary, I am honest and trustworthy. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and I feel I can get along well with a variety of elders. I learned everything I can, I get creative when I have to, and I do my best. Caregiving is a huge personal accomplishment.

I became a caregiver after being downsized from scheduling and making sure that patients made there doctors appointments. I decided that I loved working and making sure that people were taken care of. I love the smiles and the thanks you get from your patient. The most personal achievement that I am proud of is from working to make sure my patient made it through hurricane Katrina. I have been working as a caregiver for 14years, love what I do, I am a grandmother of three but most of all a caring and loving person.
