Hello my name is Sarah. I have been doing home care for 20 yrs . I truly adore helping others. I have worked with many different people in the past 16 yrs. My jobs have consisted of bathing (personal care), meal preparation, transferring client With gait belt, trach care, hospice care, shopping, administering medications, companionship, exercise, cancer care and etc. I am highly experienced in working with people that struggle with Dementia/ Alzheimer's. I have handled many complex situations. Many of my clients have required high level care. I have enjoyed every single person I have worked with. They all are special in their own way. I am a mother of 2 grown children , grandmother of 2 little boys, and 1 little girl, have been married for 30 years , I have taken care of people with disabilities for over 20 years . I love taking care of people, this job makes me feel useful and I love what I do. I will do my best to make your family member feel wanted and needed.

I an a single mother of 2 girls and 3 furr babies. I began Healthcare at age 18 because my grandmother fell ill and needed 24 hour care. It ended up being a huge blessing because I found My true calling in life. I went to college for something completely different but I just wasn't passionate about that industry like I am about providing quality care. So I went back to the Healthcare industry where I'm the happiest.

I became a CNA in July of 2014 after losing my daughter Karleigh to a genetic disease SMA. It's alot like ALS except it's the infant form. I wanted to help people in the same way that the nurses and staff helped my baby girl. I fell in love with the job. I started the pre nursing school in 2016 and am currently going for my RN at Lewis and Clark. Now that I take care of people for a living I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

I have been working with adults and children with disabilities for a while now and I absolutely love to see how helping care for them impacts their daily lives. I feel a sense of accomplishment from seeing people that truly need help getting their needs met.

I am very responsive to my patients. I listen to their request and give my 110% to make sure they are happy. I enjoy helping patients do any hobbies they may have or even just giving them company. I enjoy just giving back to the generations before my own. The community we live in was built by the same people who need our help now. I can help with any daily activities such as bathing, dressing, cooking, running errands ect. I am proud to announce i will be attending nursing school to achieve my RN license. In the mean time i am working at Troy Nursing and Rehab in Troy.

I became a caregiver after taking care of my grandmother for 8yrs after her multiple strokes, I believe in treating and caring for all people like I would for my own family. I love the bonds and relationships you create while doing such a rewarding job where at the end of the day you know you are needed! I am proud to have found my niche in life and it is my passion to provide excellent care for anyone in need. I am licensed to pass medications, I have a Class E license, I am registered on the Family Care Safety Registry, and have outstanding documentation.

I'm a very caring patient person. I love to talk about anything that is interesting which is everything. I love to make peoples lives easier and fun. I have a lot of experience with caring for people. I enjoy bringing a smile and good conversation to any situation that comes my way. I volunteer as a Boy Scout leader for my local Boy Scout Troop. Giving back to the community is fun and exciting.
