To me it is such a rewarding career being that not only do you get to know your patients well but also get to know their families as well. I have been working as a caregiver for over 15 years now. What made me want to be a CNA/ Caregiver, was when I was 16 my grandfather whom I was very close to had a massive stroke and ended up being paralyzed on the right side, he had to be placed into a LTC center even though we wanted to keep him at home. But it was when I visited him daily that I saw and realized what being a caregiver actually entailed. They were so good to him, and in turn he not only thought the World of them, but we all did to. This helped me to realize what I wanted to do when I grew up.

I was adopted and raised in a home full of special needs siblings so im aware of the responsibilities, patience and love needed to take care for someone. Most of all though. I love God, I attend church every Sunday and wed, I live a very straight laced life. I dont curse, I dont drink, I try to live my life for God every day striving to get closer to him. I've always had a heart for the elderly and special needs. I'm currently employed at burgerking in norton Va, ive been there for going on 2 years now. I often get compliments and customer satisfactory reviews on how kind, Patient, and nice I am. I would love to take care for people and help them, I'd cook for them as much as possible. My biggest achievement im proud of is Getting saved and living for God. I've had a difficult life and unfortunately because of that I don't have a ged or highschool diploma, however I have plans to get my Ged and go to college to better myself for my children.

I am a Nurse with a great passion for my career in nursing. I have always spent my time caring for others throughout my life including children. I love being that person who can help people to feel more comfortable with their daily activities and their condition or situation. I appreciate the stages of life and the fact that every person is unique in that no two people respond to any situation or illness in the same way which requires a great deal of communication and organization to find what care plan works best for each one.
