I have always felt a calling and a passion for caregiving. I have over 15 years of experience providing compassionate care in Skilled and private homecare settings. I am a single mother and student at UMGC. Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Gerontology and Aging Services and a minor in Psychology, and proudly graduating in December of 2024! From there, I plan to work towards a master's degree in Occupational Therapy. I am dedicated and dependable, and the hourly rate is negotiable depending on the level of care and time of day needed, etc.

I became a caregiver because I love helping elderly and sick people. I'm certified in CPR and First Aid and have ten years of experience working with sick and elderly people. I'm a very clean and passionate person who can perform the following tasks by myself: tube feeding, Hoya lift, bs monitoring, and vs. I can help patients get into bed, eat, and bathe/shower. I am also more than willing to do light housekeeping.

I have an experience working in Healthcare fields such as Nursing homes and Home health care. Helping others getting the care they need and seeing their satisfaction gives me a joy. \"My passion for caretaking came when my grand dad was left under my care and I took care of him until he passed away. Since then, I have been taking care of loved ones until they've sadly departed. All of my experience has been hands-on and I can assist in all aspects of home care from companionship to bathing/dressing, to meal preparation. I can also assist in managing doctor visits and ensuring that doctors stay coordinated. I am a certified CNA / LPN With the Maryland Board of Nursing and also certified in First Aid, CPR and AEDs for adults and children. My hobbies are reading and spending time with family, time permitting. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is it helps me greatly and gives me the courage to take care of my son who is autistic. I'm a good listener, I have patience, respect,empathy, and I will respect their privacy. What made me want to become a caregiver so I can make a great difference in someone's life.
