Hello my name is Sarah. I have been doing home care for 20 yrs . I truly adore helping others. I have worked with many different people in the past 16 yrs. My jobs have consisted of bathing (personal care), meal preparation, transferring client With gait belt, trach care, hospice care, shopping, administering medications, companionship, exercise, cancer care and etc. I am highly experienced in working with people that struggle with Dementia/ Alzheimer's. I am a married mother of 8 children 6 grand children I love working and helping the elderly community I have worked in couple nursing homes and took care of my grandmother and grandfather till there passing

I an a single mother of 2 girls and 3 furr babies. I began Healthcare at age 18 because my grandmother fell ill and needed 24 hour care. It ended up being a huge blessing because I found My true calling in life. I went to college for something completely different but I just wasn't passionate about that industry like I am about providing quality care. So I went back to the Healthcare industry where I'm the happiest.

I have been working with adults and children with disabilities for a while now and I absolutely love to see how helping care for them impacts their daily lives. I feel a sense of accomplishment from seeing people that truly need help getting their needs met.

I am very responsive to my patients. I listen to their request and give my 110% to make sure they are happy. I enjoy helping patients do any hobbies they may have or even just giving them company. I enjoy just giving back to the generations before my own. The community we live in was built by the same people who need our help now. I can help with any daily activities such as bathing, dressing, cooking, running errands ect. I am proud to announce i will be attending nursing school to achieve my RN license. In the mean time i am working at Troy Nursing and Rehab in Troy.

I became a caregiver after taking care of my grandmother for 8yrs after her multiple strokes, I believe in treating and caring for all people like I would for my own family. I am licensed to pass medications, I have a Class E license, I am registered on the Family Care Safety Registry, and have outstanding documentation.

I've worked over 30 years in Home Health Care or in Private Home Care. I love working with the elderly and keeping them in their homes as long as possible. What makes me a great Caregiver is I truly care about my clients and will do whatever it takes to make their day or help them. I also listen and pay attention to my clients so they know they're important and cared for. What attracted me to being a caregiver is knowing the difference I can make in someone's day. Just giving them a little help around the house with chores can make a world of difference. What I enjoy most is seeing the smile on their faces and appreciation when I have fixed a problem. A personal achievement I am proud of is losing 70 pounds and eating healthier. I am still going strong.
