I left fast food and earned my 3 years of healthcare experience as a residential care partner and then a dietary nutritional cook. I also have 4 years of experience in retail establishment. I can literally make a joke out of bread and that's what makes my patients care about me the most because I can be myself. What attracted me to being a caregiver was taking care of my grandmother as my first client. I made such a big deal in her life and I wanted to do the same for others. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is that I still get to do everyday life things but with my patient. A personal achievement I'm proud of is learning to be my own person and not overthink about what others think.

Caregiving is the ultimate act of love. Caregiving changed perspective on life! My mother took care of my grate grandmother when I was little. She would let me help and it ment the world to me making them smile! My giving nature and my nurturing desire to help those in need is how I knew caregiving was for me.
