Hey,my name is Nora I been doing caregiving for 4 years.It all started when I had my grandma she was very sick I took care of her,and I started to realize it was something I loved and enjoyed doing.I love to help and include the person in helping as much as I can I'm a very nice and fun person I try to make a laugh out of anything.Happiness is everything.I do have experience with mostly anything you can name with the job"caregiver ".

Am license in state of colorado with certification in nurse aide and BLS/CPR. I have knowledge of proper care, feeding, wound care, grooming and catheter care. Am a very reliable person who create positive environment and good atmosphere for patient, family member and my coworkers. I have about 13 years experience as a certified nurse aide and also have experience in housekeeping to provide help and encouragement to those who are physically disabled in other to make them feel at home and loved at all time. Am able to work with or without supervision. I am experienced in computer chatting and understand medical terminology. Monitoring patients and providing all kind of activity of daily living are my major task as a certified nurse aide. I Have good experience in most kinds of restraint monitoring and the relief period, Alzheimer, Dementia, Parkinson, sitting with group or one on one patient are also something am very good at.

I have experience working in assisting living environments. I also been working in in- home care settings. I worked +2 years in working with disabled adults. Skilled in assisting patients with daily activities. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was when I would see my mom caring for her dad and she would have a hard time and she didn't know how to find help and I would try helping her even if it was helping to set up clothes for the day or helpings in making a meal. So now that I'm getting older I want to be prepared to one day be able to personally care for my parents. I'm looking to leverage my passion & commitment to clients well- being to improve their quality of life. I always care for a client the same way I would care for a family member I have compassion, empathy and understanding that they still want to be independent and assist when needed. Helping others and bringing joy to their lives is a accomplishment anyone can feel proud of.

Being a Caregiving is an extremely rewarding job. As a Caregivers I take care of our elders, the people who have given so much to this world. Taking care of people is something I'm very proud of. ... Some residents become lonely or sad, but being a great caregiver helpsthem change there mood for the better. What I enjoy most about caregiving is getting to help other people in there time of need.
