I am a 37year old CNA and mother of three,I became a caregiver because I love helping others and caring for those who can't perform or need assistance with their daily activities. When I was a young girl my mother was diagnosed with MS and my siblings and I were responsible for helping her with her daily activities and from that moment forward I knew that was my calling. In the past I have taken care of several loved ones and others until they're last moment here and thats what I feel like I am here to do, its my passion. I love being able to make a difference in someone else's life and make them happy.

Hello, my name is Angelica. I've been someone who goes above and beyond for people for as long as I've been able to. I have a kind spirit and making sure people are cared for properly has always been my main focus. It wasnt until highschool that I knew how to get started in a career that allowed me to do that. I've been a volunteer caregiver since 2019 and became certified and paid to do it starting December of 2020. Being as young as I am; I always had little nagging feelings about whether or not I was making an impact in patient's lives. It wasn't until I looked back at all the families I've cared for, as well as started working in a rehab facility, that I realized how much help I provide. I've had patients become emotional and show how grateful they are that I'm able to be so kind, patient, gentle, and humane all while making sure they are being taken care of fully. I believe that to be the thing I enjoy most about myself as a caregiver. It isn't "just a job," it's taking the time to help people who need it and treating them as the worthy people they are. I have much fulfillment in taking care of people. I knew since a very young age a career in serving others was my passion. Patience and understanding are the two main characteristics I live my because we all need it. When I can make someone's day by helping it gives me a sense of inner satisfaction.

I like to help people who doesn't have the ability to help themselves. When I see the elders I am picturing my mother. I like giving them care, I also like to see them going to the next level while I'm with them. I'm a married woman I have four children and two grandchildren.

I started caring for both my parents but at different times when they were diagnosed with cancer yrs ago, my dad saw how I was with mom & from the time a also cared for him he knew it was my calling & he was comfortable in my care. Then just within the past year I was able to care for my mother in law as well. I just feel compassionate about caring for others & it's such a rewarding experience everyday to know I'm making a difference in someone's life!
