Helping with their laundry, light cleaning, cooking, running errands, taking walks, exercising when needed and most importantly reminding them of their medications. It has been my privilege to lovingly care for elderly people with dementia, starting with my mother-in-law. I enjoy entering their world and showing them the dignity, respect and gentle care our elders should have. I have become the trusted companion of each person I’ve cared for, and have served several of them for years at a time. Support for the family of the person I am companion to is a special part of my ministry. I am currently a part-time seminary student and simply love people. My desire is to bring joy and wisdom in caregiving to those I serve.

Cna experience of 2 years, I moved from Kansas City to beautiful Illinois a couple months ago, I find being a CNA is the most gratifying experience out there, making beautiful connections, listening to stories and providing that compassion.
