I have ben a caregiver for 30 years i love it im a cna and its one of best the best things i have ever decided to do.

I been working with people with disabilities for 8years l like helping i like careing for people i think that it a rewarding job

I am cna certified and also am cpr certified. I have been working in the health field since 15 starting as a dietary aide then going on to laundry and housekeeping . Then was put through classes for cna I have been certified for 14 years as a aide and I absolutely love meeting new people helping others and connecting with people as friends not just a caregiver as well . I do not have a drivers license but that absolutely does not stop me from being responsible and dependable when I say I will be or am suppose to be somewhere I will be there most times even earlier then said . I am still able to always grab a few things needed from the grocery store or Walmart as I myself always am needing things. So please don't count me out on the fact that I don't have a license I am still a very dependable and loving caring person who can still do the tasks asked with out one. A little about my family I am a mother of two a daughter who is a senior this year and a son who is in 4th grade my son has autism and adhd so I am also experienced in that and I am also expecting one on the way due in February. Being a caregiver to me means so much more than most! I truly feel that my purpose n life is to care for others to help others! That's what I love doing and I'm going at it I'm very out going always willing to listen and hear others thoughts and opinions! Hello! My name is Sue . I have been a CNA for 8 years . I am registered as a certified CNA in the state of Illinois . I am pet friendly and have my own transportation . I enjoy helping the elderly and anyone in need for that matter. I have experience working in in home, nursing , home and hospital settings , assisting Alzheimer's /dementia patients . I am also experienced working with the hospice community . I love what I do and who I do it for . I am available to help any time of day .

I believe that I am a great caregiver because I genuinely care and do my job with love and empathy , I am very patient and down to earth. What has helped me become a great caregiver is that I understand that these are real people that have lived lives that they are no longer in control of so that is where me being patient comes into play because I understand that it can be very confusing and frustrating to suddenly need help. What attracted to being a caregiver is that I honestly have so much respect for older people so I feel like caring for them would be a beautiful way to help them feel themselves and what I enjoy most is that I get to hear many different stories of their lives and seeing them happy , a personal achievement I have is graduating a year early from highschool

I am a great caregiver because I am very open minded and outgoing. These traits help me work with patients and do things they enjoy as well as letting them teach me new things about what they enjoy. I am also open to different lifestyles and adjust well. I have wanted to be a caregiver my whole life and grew up helping to take care of my family members and therefore have witnessed different conditions throughout my whole life. I enjoy building connections with each patient as an individual and just getting to know them and their interests. My favorite personal achievement thus far has definitely been adapting to be able to take care of different patients with their needs and learning all of the skills I have so far.
