I was first introduced to home care when I was a teenager as my grandmother suffered from Breast Cancer,I became her primary caretaker,so upon my 18 th birthday I went ahead and took the CNA/HHA CLASSES.I truly love what I do,it gives me great pleasure caring for someone,also being able to care for someone who needs to be cared for,and wants to enjoy thier last year's in their home.I have been doing this (care taking) for 26 years. I am well rounded in this field.I am able to make quick decisions,very attentive.I have done everything from just being a companion to more technical jobs that included catheter care,ALS,MS,Hoyer lifts and more.I have worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients for the vast majority of my career.Patience is key and quality of life is important.Any Questions please feel free to contact me @413-799-8965. I started doing caregiving after my great grandmother passed. She was completely independent and ended on hospice so I learned it all starting with her and when she passed I missed that feeling of helping someone and the joy I brought to them. I'm proud of the women my grandmother raised and how she never needed for anything as long as I was around.

Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. Just for a little extra info, I do speak some spanish, however not too fluent; I also play several musical instruments in which I got to share music with some of the residents I cared for. I am an excellent worker, friend, and companion and I hope to get the opportunity to show and express it to you and your loved one(s)!
