What makes me a great caregiver is that I am compassionate and empathize with my clients. I am there to help them, YES but I want them to feel that I care about them and will be there when they need me. I became a caregiver and chose this path for myself because I know what it feels like to have no one beside me and also does my grandmother and that's why I have been by her side . Its something about putting a smile on another persons face or picking them up when they aren't feeling so well, gives me a certain type of strength and confidence knowing that I can do that for a person that needs it the most. I also take my work very seriously and I am a very reliable and flexible.

I cared for my late father when he had a stroke twenty four years ago and I developed a tender heart for the elderly. I love working with them and I believe they need love, special care and attention in their old age just like my dad offered me a lot of love, care and attention in my young age. I am a warm, loving and caring person and I would like to make a difference in a person's life, treat them with respect and love, through music, through a word of encouragement, through a smile, a warm embrace an acts of kindness. I am reliable, detail oriented, respectful, creative and organized. The best time was when one of the elderly people who hasn't been talking or saying anything for a while started singing when I was playing a song on the CD and humming along, I felt so accomplished and victorious in that moment. I made a difference in her life that day, through music.

What makes me a great caregiver is my organization and ablity to multitask, I'm a reliable person. I enjoy people and treat people with respect. I've been a caregiver for 30+ years the reason I became a caregiver is, it's given is the ability to help other people, live the best posible life they can live. What I enjoy the most is watching people smile and heal. The thing I'm most proud of is raising my 4 children to be healthy young men.

I am a caring, loving, dependable and trustworthy person who has had a heart for the elderly, since I was a little girl. I have always enjoyed the company of the elderly because I love to hear stories of the past. My desire is to bring happiness, laughter and joy to those who are sick and need help. I have experience as a Care Manager, hiring, training, and managing a caregiving team for a family that needed 24 hour care for their father. Since I was a very young girl when asked what I want to do I've always been able to respond in the same way: I want to help people. I've always been driven to grow and improve. This desire also extends out to the people around me. As a caregiver, I go out of my way to ensure my client's needs are met before that of my own. I try to get to know each person as what they really are: an incredible human being, with a LOT to offer. I always try to learn something from my incounters, no matter how brief the engagement. Hello , My Name is , Mar'Nisha I am a 28 year old mother & college student currently enrolled for nursing . I enjoy helping others taking that my close friend since child hood was in a tragic accident in the year of 2017 which caused her to be paralyzed. Taken that situation it made me want to be dedicated to those who can no longer do for themselves, those who no longer feel important or happy ! I love to make them feel loved and appreciated for them to understand that they still MATTER & are just still alive and important by all aspects in life ! Since than I've worked in home care as well as facilities. With those who have all different type of illnesses. I feel the number one most important part of it all is to have patients & communicating on a level on kindness and compassion . I've been working in this field for about 6/7 years now & I wanna become a nurse for the reasonings of seeing a smile on someone who feels helpless face see them alive again and just at peace with who they are .
