The littlest thing can change the environment providing enjoyment and pleasantness. I took care of a lady once that no one wanted to be around. She was extremely difficult and angry. As hard as it was at times to take the verbiage, touching her cheek and whispering good-night calmed her till she held my hand and asked me to never leave. And I love to cook good food!!!

I'm a full time girl momma to a 2 year old, I found my love for caregiving when I was younger and helped with my father's girlfriends and helped my grandmother through at home hospice. I love building relationships with my clients so they can trust and understand that I'm there for their well being! I became a CNA in 1997 when my aunt was in a nursing home. I saw all the folks that needed love and care and thought I would give it a try. Well 2014 I am still a caregiver and can not imagine doing anything else. I have worked in Long Term Care, Home Health Agencies , Group Homes and private duty. My favorite being private duty with one on one care. I love helping people with their everyday needs and try to put some spice in their life by taking them out or offering fun activities in the home. I am willing to travel away from home, currently all my clients are in Centre County.
