I enjoy my clients being happy with me and the care I give. And for me to see them comfortable around me. The personal achievement I am proud of is when I had the honor and privilege to take care of some of Houston's finest clients. And I was able to be there until the end of their life stage. After caring for my 95 year old mom for 6 years; the realization needing an xtra hand, if nothing else to get a break , was challenging to locate a professional quality caregiver that actually knew what they were doing, and were reliable. I, Shonita Badillo became a caregiver because I love working with the elderly and, sick. Caregiving has always been my passion because, when I was a teenager I cared for my grandmother. I started off in a nursing home in the kitchen, went to work at a group home for developmentally challenged individuals, then I moved to a memory care unit while I resided in Florida, and now I work in emergency services as a dispatcher. Hello I've been a care giver for a while now and I know that this job requires much love and compassion. I respect all my clients and I love speaking and listening to them. I wanted to be a caregiver because I love taking care of people so after my kids got older I thought this would be a perfect job for me. I love hearing all the stories from my clients and I tell my kids all about it when I come home. I never show any harshness to any of my clients and all my past clients are still in touch with me.
