I have been a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 4 years. I was born and raised in Houston tx, along with my family. I have worked with pediatric to geriatric patients in a home health care setting as well as a clinical setting. I love working with people of all ages and the joy I bring to my families. I've been a certified caregiver since 2013. I decided to pursue a career in this field due to the fact that I cared for my grandfather. I'm passionate about what I do. For many years I've lived away from my father, but the moment I received a phone call that he had a stroke I dropped everything and went to care for him until he recovered. I go to an extended mile to make sure that their needs are met and that they are taken good care of and happy. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to graduate college. Both my parents are illiterate and for me to be the first out of four siblings to go to college and graduate was a very good accomplishment for me. And with what I have learned and experience I will continue to strive in what I love the most; that is helping people.

As child, I grew up in a house hold with my elders. We took care of them and even though it was required of me, I always enjoyed it as my way of saying thank you. I make a great care giver because I understand what it is to need someone to be there for and sometimes just with you. In the days we live in, there is little to no love in the world for younger people, that leaves not such a great outlook for our elders so, as I am able and capable I love to put my hand to the ploy and help where there is a need. I enjoy being able to be there with my client to give them peace of mind, knowing they are in good hands.
