I provided much of the care as my mother was a private person. It was rewarding and I learned alot with the AD support group. I spent as much time as possible after retirement, at the nursing home where my aunt was living. I spoke of family history, showed her pictures, played her favorite music and took her out to the garden area. She loved flowers. I went to nursing school in 2014. I have my degree in Science (AAS), and was working in a nursing home as a nurse assistant for 3 years.
