If I have any kind of developmental disability or I have become aged, weak or sick and need support, what sort of person would I like to take care of me? That is the kind of person I am. I am a Navy Veteran. I received the Purple Heart for my efforts in Afghanistan. I've also received multiple Navy medals and achievements while serving in Iraq, Kuwait and here in the states. I'm a CNA who has been caring for seniors over the past 14 years in conjunction with other caregivers in their private homes. I assisted with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, maintaining adequate groceries in the house through the family. I engaged in daily activities, including organizing mail, managing appointments, and exercising. I provided daily transferring of the patient from bed to wheelchair, to recliner and walking around the house and assisted with exercise programs. I enjoy working with Seniors so that they can live in their homes as long as possible and so that their family members can have peace of mind. I'm Anita 27 years, South African, when I was there I worked as a caregiver for seniors from the ages of 48to 89 in large groups of 4 to 7 for a year where I assist residents with dementia and Alzheimer's diseases with daily living needs and I also worked as a private caregiver.
