I become a caregiver when i started working as part time and i realized, how big impact my rules for the elderly who's in need of our care. I like what i am doing since then and Im so proud of what I accomplished each time I finished my shift. I didn't realize , someone like me can be useful and Helpful and that makes me happy to go home knowing that i did something good to my clients and their family. I am also the Dad of a teenage daughter, I am quite proud of that. I have experience caring for a close family member with Alzheimer's and Dementia. My skills set include changing incontinence undergarments, assisting the Care Recipient with getting dressed, grooming and body cleaning. Lifting the Care Recipient out of bed without a Hoyer Lift and placing into a wheelchair. Feeding the Care Recipient, assisting the Care Recipient with walking with the aid of a walker and safety belt. Playing assorted games with Care Recipient to keep them engaged.
