I love to be able to help others from young to older, did it half of my life. I live in hammond,indiana with my husband and dog. I Enjoy adventures and family time. Being hands on with a person everyday or week you become close and understand them. I have the patience, awareness of my surroundings, fast actions and enjoy helping others. If I don't know what to do I'll look it up or ask lots of questions. I been taking care of my dad for the last 8 years, every Tuesday I take him to his doctor appointments and I also do housekeeping every Friday mornings for the last 2 years. Hi, De'yunka here! I got my start in the United States Marines as an Administrative Specialist. I decided that I needed a change and becoming a caregiver was something that I wanted to try. I am currently working for an agency and my first client was a paraplegic and she taught me a lot, from sponge baths to catheter placement. she also shared with me valuable life lessons and experiences that have helped me as an individual and as a caregiver.
