I am a mature woman with over 25 years caring for people of all ages and walks of life. I have bachelor degrees in Family Life and Human Development and in Nursing. I was a registered nurse for 25 years. I have extensive experience in home care, and especially enjoy home care because it gives me a chance to work in an environment in which people are the most comfortable. I enjoy becoming a part of each client's life and in meeting family members and friends. I have found I have a knack for building rapport with clients. I believe in treating each client in a holistic manner, and in communicating with him/her as a person, not as the condition for which he/she is receiving services. I enjoy teaching each client about his/her condition and in focusing on health-promoting practices. My degrees fit well together, and my experience has covered a broad area of expertise.

I am a CNA plus registered medical assistant I received perfect attendance and a 4.3 gpa RMA received in 2007. Receaved extra courses from John's Hopkins in Dementia and Alzheimer's. I have as well enjoyed art therapy classes. I am exploring going back to school while working part-time. I figure I can not receave enough education when it comes to careing for people.
