I started being a caregiver when I was 25 years old, I always had a heart for people and helping others. I knew that was the type of work I wanted to do was give back my time and love to ones that need special care. I worked with clients from ages 17-78 some with mental and intellectual disabilities, to working with patients in a mental hospital suffering from depression, drug abuse, rape, self harm, suicidal thoughts and attempts. I'm a veteran , mom and sister. My dad passed away last year from esophageal cancer. I've cared for him in various capacities since 2016. Specifically medication management, personal hygiene, transportation to docs, cleaning up for him, light house keeping, and I've been trained in hospice care and first aid. I came from the corporate world which isn't where I am most fulfilled.
