Hello, I consider myself a warm, compassionate person with a gift of patience. I empathize with many because I know what it feels like to need someone one to lend a hand and how difficult it may be to ask for that help when needed. At age 15, I cared for my dying mother and father, and decided to dedicate my life to be of service to others who could no longer care for themselves. I can honestly say that care giving brings out the best in me. When I see a need, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual one, I am challenged to work with the families to help fulfill that need. Everyone deserves that kind of experience in life and I believe everyone needs somebody. I am very proud to be a caregiver for the last 35 years and the families I have met have enriched my life and have helped me grow as a person. Care giving is a choice to make the world a better place.

I BECAME A CAREGIVER BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN THE NEED AND THE WORRIES OF THE FAMILY THAT HAVE TO LEAVE THEIR LOVED ONES ALONE TO GO TO WORK WORRIED ABOUT THEM. I love helping and care for others in any way can. I am a caring compassionate person . I have 12 siblings 11 grandchildren and has always had a desire to help others.I decided to take the certified nursing assistant. training and became certified in 1993.. I have worked with patients with Alzheimer's , in hospice care, elderly. I am honest,flexible, fast learner,dependable and passionate about the care give to the patient and get along great with others .

The degree of satisfaction derived from my interventions is a unique feeling, to experience. Both uplifting...but also humbling. Perhaps, being the parent of the most beautiful precious, most special special child. It's ingrained within me, the dire need to be a voice, for the vulnerable. Seeing a task completed, with great results, makes it all worthwhile. The greatest sense of gratitude, has been, for me, times when the client required careful, almost mechanical transferring. After she was safely delivered...that glorious sigh of relief, and the look of relaxed expression, of the client.
