We have on call aides to fill in should anything unexpected come up for a caregiver so you need not ever worry about someone not coming. My personal traits that make me a great caregiver is that I like to get to know my clients that Im working for and getting to know clients likes and dislikes their favorite food tv shows What attracted me to become a caregiver is that my mom was in a car accident and had a brain injury from it I had to teach her how to shower read and daily activities at the age of 13

I am a great caregiver because I put myself in my patients situation, try my best to make them as comfortable as I can and treat them as if they are family. I became a caregiver because I've always loved helping people, I feel as if my hands were meant to heal. I love being a care giver, the most rewarding thing is to watch the patient leave our facility (recently employed at an LTACH) and return back to there normal lives. I have only been employed as a caregiver by one facility. In my first 90 days I received recognition from management for my superior work with my patients and I received 5 select stars, each one from a certain patient who felt I went above and beyond to make them comfortable. I am a great team player who is hard working and very results oriented when on the job.
