I love to help others!!For 30years it has brought me joy to know that I do something everyday that puts a smile on an individuals face. I'm giving back what was given to me, at sometime or another we all need someone to care for us so its my duty to give back. Raising my kids and finishing school so i could do what i love. Hi , My name is Jasmine Williams I'm 26 years old. Coming back into the field after maternity leave. I have worked as a nursing assistant for 5+ years! I am very dedicated to the medical field and am also hoping it takes me a long way. I knew I wanted to take care of people when my grandpa was sick when I was in 6th and 7th grade. Visiting him in the nursing home and hospital pushing him around and making him smile was the best feeling ever. I decided to go to Lawrence County Vo-tech for my 11th and 12th grade year to become a CNA and started working my senior year in November 2008. In 2012 I left that job to go to the facility my grandma resided in until she was well enough to go home which was about 2.5 years, and continued to work until I moved in 2016 I currently am working for St. Barnabas now as a hospice aide part time. I recieved an award for employee of the month in August from them. Overall, I enjoy helping care for people, and make them feel good about themselves. A smile of appreciation in return is so rewarding.

In my current position of individual caregiver to a quadriplegic patient I assist my client with daily living activities such as getting out of bed toileting showering getting dressed and other duties as needed. I am able to physically handle the work load and I also have a caring bedside manner and good interpersonal skills. My organizational skills allow me to complete all tasks in a timely manner and to be able to devote time to helping with other household duties such as cleaning laundry and dishes.
