Patience ,attentive,trustworthy, caring, compassionate about other's everyday needs I enjoy working taking care of the elders family members on one on one interaction due to is the most rewarding things a caregiver can have is the fact I will be able to help others on a daily basic that alone is priceless I've been doing this line of work for the past 17 years and will continue to do so as long there is some in need of a caregiver

I have 35 years of caregiving experience. Have taken care of patients from the age of birth to 101 yrs old. Worked with hospice care, psychiatrics hospital, parkinson's, cancer, the blind, cognitive problems, paralyzed patients, dementia and many other illnesses and diseases.

I am happily married for more than 15 years and have 2 almost grown boys. My oldest is in his 3rd year of college and my youngest is in high-school. Both of my children have special needs. When I became a mom I was not prepared for the days ahead, but the Lord is gracious and we learned how to handle life one day at a time. I believe that raising my boys has taught me many lessons that I use with those I care for; for example, there is more than one way to do something, if we can't do something the normal way then we adapt. Being a caregiver is something I chose to start in my 40s. In my early life I was an interpreter for the deaf and blind and then worked in an attorneys office as their disabilities advocate for people who were applying for government disability. I loved both of these jobs and learned valuable life lessons from each; patience, for example. In my late 30s my mom got breast cancer. We had caregiver after caregiver come in to help her. Before this I had assumed that the title caregiver meant that the best care possible would be provided while they were there. Unfortunately I was wrong. I was appalled at some of the things I saw happen. I finally quit my job and became my mom's caregiver. I learned on the job the things I needed to know about her medical situation. I cared for her full time for 3 years until she passed. After a couple years (about a year of depression from the loss of my mom who was my best friend and a year of reflection on my life and what I wanted) I decided to find a way to help others. It has always brought me joy when I could make someone feel better or smile. I want to provide the kind of care that I would would expect for my own family. When I am caring for someone they will be treated just like my own loved one. I provide them with level of care that I would expect for my mom. And I try to make them smile every time we meet. I believe that laughter is the best medicine.

I'm an enthusiastic caregiver who has been giving the highest level of care for over 20 years there's pretty much nothing I haven't seen before. It gives me great pleasure to see clients excel at activities that they are normally doing and aiding them in the fractions that they cannot complete themselves. I've come to find is learning your client is key knowing how they like to do something and helping them do their task or doing the task the way they prefer if at all possible keeping sense of self inactivities

I have been a nurse for 10 years. I am currently working in an administrative position within a doctor's office. I love my job but I miss being a "hands-on" nurse. I began my career as a nurse aid in an assisted living facility and I immediately knew that I had found my calling. I have a true passion for helping others. Providing hands-on assistance is rewarding, but getting to know my clients and work to improve their situation or outlook is what I strive to do. Whether it's through preparing meals, cleaning house, assisting with bathing and grooming, running errands, or just spending time bonding with my client I strive to make my visit something that they look forward to. Those that know me say that I have a servant's heart. I spend my time at my full time job looking for ways to improve care. I spend my time off with my family or volunteering/ fundraising for nonprofits. I pride myself on my love for others and treat everyone as if they are my family.

Hello, My name is Kesha and I am a registered medical assistant. I have been in the medical field for 15+ years. I enjoy caring for people and helping people understand their medical history. I am caring, compassionate and personable. There is no other field for me besides healthcare and helping people understand their conditions. I was a certified nursing assistant before transitioning to a medical assistant. I also have completed a medical nail tech program online that I gained a lot knowledged in medical conditions and how it affects our feet and how to take care a patient w/feet issues as well.

I became a Caregiver because I believe that everyone has a place in this life where they are needed. Age has nothing to do with how important a role you play in shaping someones life. I love to help others to feel as vibrant and apart of the daily norm as possible, to know that no matter what there circumstance they have something to contribute to life. I am proud of the way my Clients respond to the help given and the wisdom they give in return. I am the mother of 3 children, 2 adults and a 18 year old. I am the grandmother of 5 beautiful children who live in Tennessee. I love all sorts of sports, avid reader, and Minister in my church.
