What attracted me to becoming a caregiver? I have always liked being around the elderly. I volunteered for meals on wheels for four years. And in those four years. I got a one on one experience of the needs of the elderly. I get to help the elderly keep their dignity and there Independence . And stay in their own home where they feel safe.

I am a great caregiver because I first learned how to be one by helping my parents and my brother. They had certain disabilities, both physical and mental/psychological, that touched my heart and helped me realize the importance of quality of life to everyone, not just to those who are healthy. Then, I achieved 89 credits towards my BSN (bachelors degree in nursing) and graduated with honors in Surgical Technolgy from Tennessee Technology Center, First Aid at MTSU, and am a licensed CNA and am CPR/BLS certified, and have a Leadership Award from St. Thomas Hospital. I currently work at a hospital as a CNA/PCA and am looking to work part-time to possibly full-time for someone who has the need for home health and/or caregiver needs.
