I have an Associate Degree in Nursing from Ivy Technical College of IN. I have worked in an Assisted Living facility in IN as well as a nursing facility. I prefer caring for an individual that would love to live in their own home independently. I have experience with Alzheimer's, mobility impairment and strokes. I am experienced in medicine administration. I have knowledge of diabetes and meal planning.

I'm a very easy going person, I've been a CNA over 20 plus years. I treat my clients as though we're family or the way I want my mother to be treated. What attracted my to caregiving, was having compassion for others. I most enjoy about caregiving is getting to know my clients and/or their family. My personal achievement is loving the care I give and knowing I'm doing my best.

I am very well suited for the Field of Care Giving. I am a CNA. I am compassionate. I care very much about my Client's situation in life and want to do my best to help them cope and endure with their various health concerns. Also, I have more than 20 years in the care of others with various Ailments. I was attracted to this Field as a result of my Mother and Sisters involvement as well as my being a naturally caring person. I enjoy making a difference in the lives of my Clients. I look for opportunities to improve their care in whatever way I can. A couple of things I am very proud of is being able to understand and communicate successfully with a Client who is a Stroke Victim. Also, finding a solution to help relieve the severe irritation of a Client's scalp.

What made me want to be a caregiver and take care of people was being able to for connections and friendships with them. i was my grandmothers caregiver for 2 years before getting into the health care and being able to make help and care for someone brightened up my day! being that i'm a very personable person i find it very easy to connect with new people. Seeing that i have made someone's day a little bit easier is what makes being a caregiver worth it !

The satisfaction of knowing and hearing from members and their families of what a difference the connection, assistance, and overall compassion that I provide warms my heart as I know that I am making a difference in not only their lives, but they are making a huge impact on mine as well. I often think of my grandparents and serve everyone as if they were my own family. Building trusted relationships, supporting, and assisting the aging/lifestyle needs of members holistically creates a stronger community for everyone.

With more than 3years' experience as a CNA, I am adept in assessing vitals, managing supplies, and monitoring symptoms. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well- rounded skill set, including first-rate problem solving and observational skills, I excel at: Providing nursing assistance in Home and Long term Facilities.
