I use to take up for the disable kids while in school and I use to help the elders with taking their grocery bags in the house , help them walk if they had diffculty walking and etc . I enjoy putting a smile on the patient's face and I enjoy listing to their stories when they were growing up if they are able to talk with me ! I am a certified occupational therapist assistant and have worked in a nursing home or a hospital for 7 years. Recently went to one on one cargiving for a disabled non communicive teenager that required detailed ADL services and light housekeeping and appointment rides and prevention of self harm. I have worked with many diagnosis and have some experience with useing sign language. I try to match personal needs and activities for each client and work with them on succeeding in thier personal goals with home and personal experiences.
