I took an interest in the medical field at the age of 20 during my schooling for Cosmetology. I went on to school an earn an associate degree in medical science as a Medical Assistant. Have worked in many areas of HOME HEALTH CARE. I am well rounded in most areas. A passion an interest in the health of people who need at home care and can utilize my knowledge and skills. I know how important it is to be comfortable in the privacy of your own home. I have assisted and supported families with caring for their love ones. My personal achievement was my schooling to reach my career goals. I have upgraded my skills with online continuing education and recently received certification in the care of Alzheimer and Dementia clients.

I am a mother of 4 blessed with one beautiful grandson. I live in a small beautiful, quiet town of Scurry, Texas. After spending the last 12 years as an officer manager. The timing is finally right for me to go back to what I love to do helping people. Before my 12 as an officer manager I worked 4 years as an Group Home Manager. Supervising staff to provides individuals with assistance and support necessary for the individual to complete personal care, health maintenance, and independent living tasks; participate in community activities and develop, retain, and improve community living skills. Also growing close one on one relationship with my clients. I'm excited God has led me back down this road.

I became a caregiver because I have always enjoyed helping people and find it rewarding. What I like about being a caregiver is knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life and the lasting relationships I build with those I care for. I currently have 24 yrs experience being a caregiver, mainly hands on experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer, and paraplegic clients.
