I've been in the care giving field for 10 plus years, and enjoy it. I enjoy helping others, and making a difference in people lives. I'm a compassionate caring person, and I'm kind and patient with my clients. I first started in caregiving when I was a freshman in high school, and voulentered at a nursing home. I also took care of a family member for many years. I got my CNA certification shortly after, and have been doing home care ever sense. I look forward to continuing my career in this field.

I have over 7 years experience working with individuals with various disabilities and limitations, ranging from Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, developmental disabilities, etc.

I became a care giver at a very young age i used to go to work with my mother and help out with what ever i could, i became a cna at the age of 12, and have been around the elderly my whole life,I like being a care giver because i enjoy helping people, and listening to there storys from when they were young, My achievement is helping people that need it the most and some of the eldrely have no family so i try to become there family and put a smile on there face thats my achievement making someone happy. i am a recent widow and i have 2 grow children and 3 grandchildren,i live alone and enjoy life.

I love working and taking care of people that need me. I I have worked with handicapped and mentally and physically disabled persons as well. I have dealt with a lot of altzheimers and dementia clients and also worked with hospice.

to tell you the truth i was 17 years old and neede a job, there was an add in the paper for cna training(free), and i signed up< i took the class and passed< here i am 35 and still a cna. i feel that is my calling, ive delt with many residents from sych. patients to just elderly patients that needed help with daily activities. i sometimes feel that i can be apart of there life just because im around them and there situations every day. when i go to work, and hear, "hi,were you been?" it realy makes me feel that i have an impact on there life. thats a good feeling. im a fast learner, very outgoing and love to laugh, and make people laugh around me.

I have been a caregiver for the past 9 years. I absolutely love it. I find helping other people rewarding. When I was young my grandmother had Multiple Sclerosis and I would help her home health aides with her stretches and transfers. Theyou helped my grandmother have a happy and active life. I am so glad that I went into a profession to benefitnothers.

I became a caregiver because I have always wanted to help others, it makes me feel good about myself to know that I have helped and improved someone's life. I am proud of myself because I have accomplished and improved so much in the health and happiness of they people I have worked for. I love my job and I am happy to wake up and go to work everyday, because to me it doesn't feel like a job and its something I enjoy.

I became a caregiver by pure accident, I needed a job when I moved and applied at assisted living, and suddenly i saw a side of me i never knew i had. I am loving, caring, patient,and so much more. I loved the fact that i could make someones day better, by just being there, it made me go home with a smile. about a year and half after my first caregiver job i moved back to my home town and got another job in the nursing field, and they offered me to pay for me to become a certified LNA, so i took them up on there offer, so i proud of myself for committing to this career for 5 years, and it has been so rewarding. along with that I also have a 4 year old son, who is my world, he drives me to success everyday. I am also attending school in the fall to start the process of becoming an LPN. I am nervous but it has always been my dream so i minswell start now.
