This is what I have a passion for I've been doing this job for the past 20 years, I am a certified nursing assistant. I love taking care of elderly people children and I the experience how to care for hospice patienta, and Alzheimer, Dementia patient Bathing and shower, prepare a meals and Medications Reminder, Transportations, Companionship, feeding and Shopping grocery, Housekeeping house organization,I'm a very responsible person ,friendly, lovely caring person and Trust worthy, and I'm on time ability to do all my job.

When my mother was ill, I was the one she would call to make her scrambled eggs. I took her to the swimming pool and hot tub to get exercise and relaxation. I cut her hair, took her to doctor's appointments and then lunch, and generally gave her some companionship. As I dusted her knickknacks, she told me where each was from. Mom died in 2002. When dad was ailing, some of my family tried to move him into assisted living, but he wanted to stay in his own home. I gave up my apartment and moved in with him, while working in publishing during the day. We had a great time together for a year and a half. Just after he died, I lost my job because I had spent too much time with dad. That evening, the daughter of a neighbor I'd assisted over the years called me, asking if I could help her mother. That began years of caregiving in which I have helped people stay in their homes, and enjoy life. I've brought my keyboard and played hymns and popular songs, singing with them and laughing. As a caregiver, I am simply happy to help my people stay in their own familiar setting. I believe the way I interact with them makes them happy. And my cooking makes them extremely happy! I built my cooking experience on my mom's, then learned to cook for fewer than 8 people! I edited three "Taste of the Country" cookbooks, working with a professional dietician who taught me many ways to fit dietary needs while providing tasty food.

I have been a caregiver for the last 18 years. I received my CNA Licence in 2007. I also have a degree in criminal justice. I enjoy being a caregiver it brings joy to me knowing I am caring for a person who truly needs me. I am able to do my CNA duties along with providing companionship.

Hello, I am a nursing student at Cardinal Stritch University. As a caregiver I make great effort to provide each individual with the personal care they need in a physical and emotional supportive way. As your caregiver I will help with your daily activities, such as assisting with bathing and bathroom functions, meal preparations, feeding assistance, grooming, medication reminders, and house chores. I will help make and keep appointments with doctors, provide or arrange transportation and serve as a companion to you. I chose caregiving because I am patient and responsible and understand how important my role to help is. What I like mostly about my role as a caregiver is the impact I have on each individual in giving of myself and my time. My most personal achievement is raising my own children and pursuing my goal of becoming a nurse.

I am looking for a full time long term live-in position. I am drug free, only drink socially and do NOT do drugs. I will relocate myself upon hire. Excellent cook, housekeeper and home organizer. I currently cook, clean and do laundry for my client in addition to his personal care and companionship. My current position is live-in with room and board and $525 per week salary. I work for myself on a cash basis. I lately worked as a live-in caregiver for an 88 year old who recently went into hospice care and has passed away, I currently work as a live-in Resident Assistant at an Adult Family Group Home for developmentally disabled. Prior to that, I was a personal assistant/housekeeper/cook for Racine's Case High School Principal (Wisconsin), until he moved to CA for health issues. Prior to that I was live-in Housekeeper/cook for a professional gay couple in Trevor, WI. I have tons of experience with children, and have a 35 year medical background. Also interested in positions in Ashland County, OH 44805 area and will re-locate for the right position. Please be aware of State Laws regarding live-in domestic care givers hours for work. There are time off requirements. 24 hours a day 7 days per week is not an expectation you should have. It's demanding work and all caregivers need time to recharge. Hello my name is Lourdes My personality traits are many but the most important ones are my caring, listen, giving my best to everyone that needs my help. I relate to there feelings there concerns in moving forward with tasks they once did alone, Trust being ultmost important. My mom was burned 70% of her body. I first hand seen her struggles. Her skin stretched when she gain weight her skin couldn't stretch it would turn into open cut skin. By me helping my mom with her wounds I desided to become a CNA in 1991. I did work in senior living facility but rather give the patient that one on one attention. So I became a in home care giver. Every case was a personal achievement because there is never two of the same care. What gave me Joy was to see my patients feel cared and watched over. They felt safer due to me being there by there side Incase they lost there balance. Just being in there own home knowing someone will keep them safe from accident they felt they had control of their life again. I give them there reason to keep moving forward with me by there side. I learned so much from them as well.
