What makes me a great caregiver is my heart. I have always cared about the well being of others, it makes me happy knowing that I am able to help people. What I like about caregiving is meeting new people, and being able to do all I can to comfort and help. A personal achievement I am really proud of is working with someone with CP. This person was in a wheel chair for a long number of years, this person gave up long ago. I came in and got to help this person and care for them helped with motaviating this person to start exercising and then we started taking small steps, thru out my years of caregiving with this person. I was able to help get this person out of the chair and to start walking again. It made me feel so good to see smiles from my client and the family because of how I dedicated myself to her, I was able to give hope and was able to see my client do somethings on their own. It is definitely a highlight to caregiving.

Listening to what my clients needs are. Allowing them to do as much as they can on their own.. I've always been very personable. Love helping the elderly. I treat each of my clients as if they're my family member.

I'm 37, happily married and a mother of two beautiful boys. I love dogs, love my family, love to help others. I love working independently because I love the one on one care and companionship. I'm extremely kind, caring and compassionate. I'm very reliable and trustworthy. I have great references and an up to date resume. Most of my experience is with dementia, Parkinson's and MS. I have experience with hoyer and stand up lifts. I love to meet new people and to learn about their lives and my hope is to make a difference in the lives of many others!!

I have time and patience for each one of my clients. I strive to make each one top priority when I am with them. My mom and grandmother are nurses and I use to go to work with them. Seeing there patience face light up when they got to work was great. Then watch how they took care of each one. It inspired me to make a difference. I love meeting new people. Hello, My Name is Bianca Shropshire. Currently I am a student at Lorain County Community College for Minoring in Business and majoring in Computer Networking. My expected date of graduation is May of 2020. I began working in healthcare in 2005. I worked for The Methodist village in Elyria Ohio in Dietary But decided to make a career change to obtain my State Tested Nursing Assisting Licenses once I turned 18. After obtaining my Licenses I obtain a position on the Neurology floor as a clinical technician in which I performed slightly a little more care than what your STNA Licensed which consist of placing and removal of Foley Catheters, removing IV catheters, and Testing blood sugars as ordered by the physician. What our floor specialized in was post recovery for surgeries within the neurological spec, stroke, seizures, dementia, Alzheimer, neurological disorders, meningitis, and some Gastrointestinal care IE ileostomy, or colostomy bags. Being a caregiver is what I have always been best at. I love to be able to help others with just the basic needs in life that sometime we take for granite in being able to do on our own. One of my biggest achievements in life was becoming a mother and raising my children to be kind unto others and help where needed and that comes with rewards in life that money cannot buy.

Hello my name is Rebecca I got by Becca I been a care giver for 3 years almost 4 ..I started to care for my grandma for 2 months right after I had surgery for cervical cancer I was 3 weeks in to bed rest and grandma called she was looking at 4 to 6 months I came home to care for her . Hi. I am what they consider a vet in the medical field. I started out taking care of my grandmother at the age of 14. Doing so gave me this since of honor and love. It also sparked my interest in helping others throughout my years.
