I provide services such as hygiene and personal care, medication reminders, companionship, grocery shopping, running errands, light housekeeping, pet assistance, as well as hobby assistance. I have experience with Alzheimer's and dementia as well for the last 6 years. My certifications include Fundamentals of Care giving, HHC License, Alzheimer's and Dementia Care, and CPR and First Aid certification. I charge $18-$20 hour depending on care. I have worked with individuals with diabetes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, dementia, and those on hospice and in rehabilitation.

I think what makes me a great caregiver is, that not only do I love helping people to get their daily activities done, but I have a lot of personal experience caregiving. When I first got into caregiving I was taking care of a family member who was a paraplegic, and a home health nurse came one day and told me how good of a job and how fast I was at catching on to certain things, and that I should really look into nursing and that is exactly what I did. What I enjoy most about caregiving, is that it's never a dull day, and I can go home feeling good about myself that I had actually accomplished something good for the day. My Personal Achievement that I am proud of, from being a caregiver is that I finished getting licensed in the state of Washington, and was pregnant at the time I was doing it and working a full-time job with lots of overtime I would get at least 60 hours a week. And I got it done. Right now I am going to school to get my Healthcare Administration License because my long term goal is to, travel the US and research different city's that really need home care, and open some adult foster homes for those in need.

I became a caregiver because i really love taking care of people. I am a nursing graduate in the Philippines. So definitely i love healthe care jobs. I am a proud health care worker because my clients are happy when they are with me. They know i really care for them. . I am simple, responsible, hardworking, passionate person. I am not just working just to get money. I work with care and passion.

When I became a lifeguard, I got a taste of being able to help someone who is helpless and cannot save themselves. I quickly realized that the medical field is for me. I began to strive for more and made it my life goal to be a nurse. I became a CNA because it's a great stepping stone into the medical field and when I realized how good it feels to help individuals improve on their health, I fell in love with the job. I am proud of my title and love what I do. One achievement that I have in this field is that I nursed (along with the help of PT) an elderly gentleman back on his feet after a major fall. This job is not for everyone, but I couldn't have chosen a better one.

I like the mere fact that when I assist the elderly, I'm able to make a difference in their life. For instance, I love to see them smile and that they can feel safe with me. In addition, I love to sit down and hear the stories the elderly has to say. 3. My personal achievement that I am proud of, is that I'm giving my certified nursing skills to someone that really cares and needs my help. 4. I am very compassionate and love to listen to people on what they have to say. Whether it makes sense or not. In addition, I'm a very hard worker, don't mind change, and flexible. I like to be a team player and utilize my knowledge where needed.

I have 30 years in healthcare and have also worked in the School district with Lifeskills students. I am HCA certified and have ALL my certs plus food handlers, fundamentals, CPR/First aide.
