I have been doing in home senior care for 2+ years. With a local company. I care for my Mother on all post-op situations. I also give her support care weekly. I have just completed the AR CNA course testing out at: 100%+5 written, and 99% clinical. I will test with the state soon. I am out going.l, Self- motivated, and am a stickler for the rules and proceedires. I am most proud of my ability to connect with and advocate for residents/clients.

Hello, My name is Charlotte. I have been a caregiver for around thirteen years. I have a good sense of humor and Im a kind person. I take care of people well ,it is what Im meant to do . I love being around older people. Older is really not the correct adjective because the heart and mind do not age, My job is to make sure my clients are happy and well as they possibly can be. Im good at paying attention to things others wouldn't notice , whether my client is sad or angry or unwell I notice . My best accomplishment is that I am good at my job . I do my best and I genuinely care for people. I look for solutions to issues always. I listen to my client because thats key to what I do.

When I was 16 years old, my grandfather who was bedridden after many strokes, and also diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia moved into our home, and me and my mother took care of him until his last days. When he passed I realized I wanted to go into healthcare to make a difference in other people's lives the way he did for me.

I have over 20 years experience in facility, hospital, and private care settings. Helping our elder community is my passion and life calling. They say the best classroom is at the feet of our elders and I could not agree more. It is an honor to help those who once helped me

Life has a funny way of going down a different path than we thought it would. I hope that has NOT happened to you. However, that is what life is all about. For me, I spent my youth studying and working very diligently and actually succeeding to master my goals and dreams. There isn't enough room to tell you all the things I accomplished. I will bullet point some of them. However; when it was time for me to start a family I knew what I needed to do was to put my career aside and give my all to my children. My best training has come from being a mother. I have two wonderful children. Both have special needs of some sort. I can honestly say that you can do your best to plan for everything; however, in life, we all need a helping hand.
