Being the oldest, and only girl of 4, I Inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later in life gravitated towards adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing their lives experiences, their knowledge, and the wisdom they often share. For me, there's no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

1. I became a caregiver through the inspiration of my late mother. She was in a vegetative state for almost 2 yrs. due to massive stroke. Reinvented myself from working in the corporate world (banking) to moving in the healthcare field. It's a different experience where one found joy and accomplishment working with the elderly. My salary rate is negotiable depending on client's needs. 2. Being a caregiver is very personal to me.. My focus is always the well-being & safety of my client. 3. Being a caregiver entails a lot of patience, compassion and experience to be able to understand every client's specific needs. . I try to keep a balance of everything I do to maintain my physical and psychological well-being. 4. I consider myself as energetic, strong-willed and resourceful. In my former job I was the lead CNA supervising 3 caregivers working 12 hrs. shift 24/7 in our client's own home. My relationship with my client & the family I've worked with has been very pleasant. I have lots of experience in medical field as a caregiver.I was working as a CNA in nursing homes .rehabilitation centers ,Alzheimer and dementia facilities.I am a private caregiver taking care of elderly people in the comfort of their own homes .Being a caregiver is one of the most important work in my life .I love being around the elderly people .I love talking to them and I learned lots of things from them about their times .I am a working hard person I love to do my job with all my heart .Being a caregiver is not an easy job but if we do it with love it's easy .Being a caregiver you have to have lots of patience lots of love and to be honest as well .I love to work in a clean environment I love to clean .I am a good cook and I can do light house keeping.laundry,run errands,doctors appointments,I can assist with medications ,I assist ,I worked hard and very respectful and kind and honest .I am available now to take good care of your love one on the comfort and safe of their own home .My lady just passed away in Dec 10 .I took care of her for more than 5 years .I was a dedicated all my times for her .I traveled with her around the world.I assisted her with activities of her daily livings .I clean her house .I did the laundry.I drove her anywhere she wanted to go Dr appointments ,restaurants,etc .I took care of her three cats as well .I took care of her medications too .I really miss her .I have a very professional reference

I became a Caregiver for my Mother when she was ill. It was about ten years I cared for her. I like assisting people that are in need of having a better quality of living and be most comfortable. I have over 30+ years experience working in patient care, I have chosen to become a caregiver as I have seen so many patients and families struggling for in-home support care. I'm a witness, and have experienced on how difficult it is to have someone that you can trust when your love ones are ill. A glimpse into my background. My mother had kidney failure, and was a dialysis patient for many years. She went from hemodialysis three times a week to peritoneal dialysis which is 5 times a day. My sisters and I had to have a crash course training just to keep my mother comfortable. My father suffered from lung cancer and his care was very challenging as well. My oldest sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and seeing her go through chemotherapy was very difficult. Because I have had these personal experiences is why I have chosen to become a caregiver and help individuals with special needs. I have a positive personality, compassionate and a great listener. I enjoy helping people, self motivated and professional. I look forward in working with you and your love ones.
