I have been a CNA since 2007 after completing a health occupations course in high school. I have always had a passion for helping people and am truly blessed to have landed a wonderful career in healthcare as a radiologic technologist. This isn't a paycheck for me, this is truly where my heart is. Nothing makes my day better than knowing I did my job, I gave the best care I could give before their last breath, before the are sent home, or just at the end of the shift.

On top of giving quality care, you have to be compassionate. I am the one to listen to the person when they are upset or want to tell you a story from their past. I like to hear their concerns about life. I come from a large family and we all took care of each other. Besides helping others, I enjoy learning about someone's past. I like to know that families consider me a confidante and a friend long after I am done working.
