I have been a CNA for 33 yrs I workd in several nursing home I have also did private care for people in my hometown when I was a teenager I also took care of my parents also I enjoy taking care of the elderly I pretty much been doing this type of work since I was a teenager ...caring for the elderly is a passion for me I also have experience in ALZHEIMERS also my dad had ALZ. and I learned more and more through him ..I considered myself as a compassion caregiver because I do go above and beyond my call of duty...

I possess a Bachelor of Science in Biology with seven years as a patient care assistant with Nurse Assistant and med level 1 certificates. I have many years of customer service experience, and I enjoy serving people and my community. I am a team player, servant. I've been educated, consistently trained, & certified in the home & healthcare field since 2004. I've had schooling as a medical assistant, pharmacy technician, ACP caregiver & a level 1 medication aid, etc. I've worked in other job fields but realized my passion is to serve & take care of other. I believe I was directed into this profession because I watched my mother & grandmother take care of a lot of people so it's kind of apart of my DNA. I enjoy this work because I believe this is my gift & I love to make people feel good about life through the ups & downs we face daily. I have been a caregiver for 15+ years fresh out of high school. I became a cargiver because my grandmother had took ill and developed dementia. My family and I took alot of time to care for her in the comfort of her own home until she departed in 2009. I knew that i wanted to be a caregiver because caring for people is my life I enjoy being able to put others and meet their needs before my own. Being a caregiver was not always easy and through out the years I have learned to be compassionate, caring, loving and also very giving. And through out the years I have further my education and I have more than one certification that I can provide care for.

Am a very compassionate person good listener even when i was a child there was something that drove me to Elder people and the sick it didn't matter rather old or young. My heart was there i do whatever i could to help. I lose my grandma to cancer. I was very young i remember standing by her bed when i was a child watching over her running out to catch my school bus with tears in my eyes peoples like doing different thing. It my calling from the lord to help i love doing. Being a care giver ever client i ever had was proud of me so i must be doing something good. It give me joy to be able to help put a smile on some one face. That give me joy to make someone smile it really. Make my day most of all cna is not just a job to me it's a compassionate nurse Assistants who love doing her job it give her joy. That supasses understanding. I'm a very loving caring, compassionate friendly, outgoing, hard working and quick learner. I've been doing care giving basically my whole life. I was raised with my morther an grandparents so it all came very naturally. From dealing with my grandmom epilepsy are my Papa Parkison in dementia I learned very quick what to do and what not at very young age. My motto is you treat others the way you won't to be treated. What I enjoy most about care giving is Everything from understanding them, the smiles the talks there nothing I don't like about it. I believe my heart makes me a good care giver..
