I have been a caregiver for 11 years. I love the work I do! I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my clients and learning how I can better assist them. I also take pride in being able to make their life easier while encouraging them to do what they still can for themselves. My favorite part is the relationship I have with my clients, getting to know them and learning about their life. I enjoy learning from them and hope they can learn something from me as well. I have a very caring, positive and patient personality. I am an advocate of the vulnerable population. I believe the number one trait for a great care giver is to truly care about the people we are taking care of. It is a good feeling at the end of a day knowing I made someone's day better.

I lost my son 16 years ago, and I watched how his nurses were so passionate, and provided a level of love that I felt I was only able to give him. Those times helped me understand what I wanted to do for others. I love having the ability to care for someone, giving them a better quality of life, and seeing them happy at a time in their lives that may not be full of joy. Every client that I have been privileged to care for, has become like family to me. I built a relationship, friendship, and admiration by being in their lives.Knowing that I made their day a little easier, building bonds with the client as well as their families. Knowing that they were more than clients to me but some became family. I am a person who feels that it is my duty to help those who can't help themselves no matter the reason.
