I became a caregiver because I love people. I am an emotional being and I understand that everybody experiences life different than I. I take pride in being trusted to help people, especially when the goal is to achieve the highest possible quality of life. I want people to always feel cared for and to know that they matter.

I love being able to take care of others. It's always been a passion of mine! I love being able to make someone's day better by just the simple things we take for granted sometimes such as bathing or eating. I enjoy being able to get to know the people I take care of and building a rapport with them.

I have been a CNA and caregiver for 7 year's professionally and personally for 11 by taking care of my children. I have experience in home health, skilled nursing facilities, hospice, and psych. I am a very caring and easy going person who feels good about helping others and enjoy building relationships with my clients. I have accomplished alot personally and professionally in how far I have come with learning about helping others and I am very proud of the knowledge I have.

I grew up in the country, both my grandmother's worked in nursing as well as a couple of my aunts and my sister. I enjoy helping others that are unable to help themselves, the immediate gratification is unlike any other type. I like taking the time getting to know the individuals I work with. I've specifically worked in levels of hospice, home health care, with units dedicated to individuals with dementia and alzheimers, mental illnesses, and palliative disorders. I have a very personable personality. Something I'm proud of which isn't necessarily considered an achievement, is the fact I've never had a med-error in the four years of having my medication license.

I am currently working as an RN part time. I am looking to pick up some extra hours of work. I feel like I am a very patient individual. I am a mother of 3 children so my evenings can be filled running them around to extra activities. I am very organized and caring person.

I'm compassionate and I put a lot of effort into my work which makes me a great care giver. I have loved giving a helping hand and seeing the smile on everyone's face that I help, that is what attracts me to being a caregiver! I enjoy making connections and getting to know my patients, that is what I love most about being a care giver! I am so proud that I have a huge heart for helping people when a lot of the world probably would turn their heads to someone in need, that is what I'm proud of!

My name is Christina, I got my CNA certification on February 21st of 2017. I am also a certified medication aide as of August 2019! Both of my certifications are viewable on the DHHS registry for confirmation. I am 20 years old and I graduated from Papillion Lavista north a year early as a junior in 2017. What called me to be a caregiver is my empathy for others and naturally calling to help other people. I enjoy working as a team with family's and employers to help bring the best service and companionship possible with my patients. I am responsible and able to manage multiple tasks at hand with time management, and always get my work done to the best of my ability. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy growing and meeting new family's and members of my community to care for. I feel that I'm a great caregiver because I have been doing this kind of work for 25 years. I've worked mostly long term care and home health. I became a CNA when I was 16 because my father was a quadriplegic and always wanted to help others. I love taking care of the elderly and have always had a special place in my heart. I also received my medication aide licence. I like getting to know patients and families and love hearing their stories!
