My journey into Home Health, Hospice and Caregiving started unexpectedly and quite personally. My then 16-year old daughter was diagnosed with a very rare malignant brain tumor. Fast forward 21 years. Although I enjoyed a very successful career as an IT Consultant, it was not emotionally satisfying. I am a caregiver at heart. I have cared for a young woman, now a young adult since her diagnosis with muscular dystrophy as a child. This is on an as-needed basis and she now enjoys independence in her own home. Working with my elderly families has been extremely rewarding. And caring for someone in their final season of life is something God put me on this earth to do. I raise an amazing teen granddaughter and she keeps me young at heart. Her love for pets keeps me on my toes with her two dogs, one cat and Waldo - her turtle. I am enrolling in the WINGS program and will receive my Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA)/Home Health Aide Certification in fall of 2020. This will be immediately followed by their Medication Management Certification program. Although I have performed in these roles and more for two decades, I have only recently decided to accomplish these Certifications. *Note, Any overnight, weekend or holiday shifts will be on an exception basis only*

Hello! My name is Krystal! I am 27, I have two children! I have been a caregiver since childhood, it just came natural. My uncle was handicapped, and a slight medical miracle, his continuing life surprising us every day. I spent my childhood taking care of him with family. At age 6, my cousin was in a car accident and left a quadriplegic with a severe wound in his stomach that required a wound vac, a halo, and several tubes and IV's. Carefully, I always helped with almost all of his care needed. My mother managed the Alzheimer's unit in a nursing home, I spent almost every day there after school. My passion only grew. I started CNA classes in 2010 in high school, finished in 2012 and started work in my local nursing home soon after. I've continued to work my way up, and had dreams of being a pediatric surgeon, but my children and seeing them grow up was more important than my career. I need to be here for all of their small moments. I've been working from home lately, and while I feel my current job does have a purpose, I would love to be back out there, actually caring for my people face to face. I miss the interactions and connections I build with them and their families.

Caring for people comes second nature to me. I enjoy helping others and I am in this field because it is what I love and what I was meant to do.I am a male Christian CNA waiting to take my PCT Exam Certification.I have competed my classroom work ,Clinical,and Externship.I have many years experience in caretaking. I have worked with clients one on one. I have also worked in group homes with 3 clients at a time and nursing homes with 8 patients at a time.I have also had the pleasure of working with autistic young men in private home settings.

Why I love doing what I do so much, is because I believe that we all should be treated the way we would wanted be treated I take every day that I get to speed with this people as a treasure. I'm not saying I'm perfect but I try my very hardest every single day to do my very best at helping and taking care of theses wonderful people. I take great pride in being someone people can depend on. I have been taking care of people my whole life from my brothers to my grandparents, ever since I was a child I wanted nothing but to help others, to let this part of there life to be the easiest and happiest times.

I absolutely love working in this field it's very rewarding. I treat all my residents with the utmost respect and give them the best care possible!

I believe I am a great caregiver for the simple fact I develop a personal connection with each and every one of my clients I am very outgoing and kind. I am a great advocate for my clients and always put their wants and needs above all. I have received multiple thank you notes from multiple employers for going above and beyond.

I have worked in skilled nursing facilities for 12 years and home health for 4 years. I love working with the elderly and have a strong desire to help people live the best life as independently as possible. I want to help people stay in their own home as long as possible. I am very patient, caring, genuine, trustworthy, positive attitude, get along with everyone.

i am reliable, responsible caregiver that has been doing this kind of work for 15 yrs now. its my calling in this world. i have first aide and cpr training utd. i know one day i may need someone to help take care of me so i treat all my pts as if they were me or a family member. i give them the best care possible. i love talking and geting to know my pts im not there just for the check im there to be their friend and take great care of them in their times of need.
